PINK PARTY PIGS, P, P, P

When we learn phonics we sing a little ditty, follow some actions, and learn the sound a letter makes.  On Tuesday we were learning the letter sound "p".  We made some Pink Party Pigs using crayon and dye.  We did not know how to draw a pig so we relied on our shape knowledge and used ovals, circles, triangles, curly lines, and the letter "w" to make our pig.  Then we dyed our pigs.  We were really surprised when Miss T wrote our names in white crayon on the page because we could not see it.  But then magic happened, when we dyed our paper, our name appeared.  AMAZING stuff!

  1. Wow, what great art work you have done Team Tahi! That must have been exciting to see your names appear on the page after you put the dye on. From Jo (Levi's mum)
