Our Rocky Shore Trip
Wow, what an awesome day we had at Ahuriri. We left Mahora school at 9:15 and we were all so excited. We all hopped on the bus, the children started to sing, and away we went.
Bags on your backs, hats on, ready to go!
We found a sea slug, did you know that if you stroke them gently the slimy cover parts and shows the shell inside?
We found a dead crab.
Another sea slug, some chitons and cat's eyes.
There was a lot of seaweed.
Time to leave the rocks and have some lunch.
Some helpful information.
The children and Pania.
We listened to the story about Pania.
It was so hot, we had juicies while we were there.
We walked along the new lookout.
We are standing over the water.
It looks like we're sitting on the ocean!
A HUGE thank you to all of the parents and grandparents, who came to help with the children and the transport. this wouldn't be possible without you. :-)

We arrived at the rocky shore, we were met by two lovely ladies from the Aquarium, so we sat down ready to listen.
Yay, then down to the rocks to see what we could find.
We found so many starfish.
