Team 1 learning this term centres around the following:

In spring, we experience many changes around us

E raka te mauī, e raka te katau

A community can use all the skills of its people

We started today with collaborative, active learning - mixing up Team 1, mixing up Team 1 teachers and getting involved in:

• the preparation required for gardens to grow great produce
•  planning for care and maintenance of the gardens
• scarecrow making

Team 1 tamariki worked very hard today - ka mau te wehi tamariki ma!

Awesome Team Tahi writers. We are learning to write sentences using capital letters and full stops correctly. We are so enthusiastic we also include exclamation marks, ellipses, adjectives and onomatopoeia for effect. WOW! We are amazing.
